Plant: Infusion of leaves taken after childbirth by the Okanagan-Colville. Leaves were chewed during labor and for any sickness by the Quinault. A poultice of leaves was also applied to cuts. The Bella Coola used the roots to prepare a decoction used for stomach aches. A poultice of roots was also applied to boils. |
