Plant: Rootstocks used by medicine men to induce vomiting by Klamath, Montana Indian, Navajo (Ramah), and Yavapi. Root used for toothaches by the Paiute, Shoshoni, and Great Basin Indian. Paste of ripe seeds applied to sores by the Paiute, and applied to burns by the Shoshoni. |
