Plant: Seeds used for food by the Okanagan-Colville, Thompson, Coeur d'Alene, Spokan, Sanpoil and Nespelem. Cambium eaten by the Okanagan-Colville, Okanagon, Thompson, Sanpoil and Nespelem, Montana Indian and Spokane. The Okanagan-Colville, Thompson (Fraser and Lytton Bands), and Montana Indian used the wood to make dugout canoes. |
