The flora guide used to identify most of the plants was the Flora of the Pacific Northwest by Hitchcock and Cronquist. Throughout the years since this was published many of the accepted names have changed. The new names have been used in the gallery of plants, with the older name used in the Flora of the Pacific N.W. in parenthesis.
